Across the centuries and around the world, crime stories have always fascinated people from all walks of life-- but who are we kidding? The real watchers, those truly in the know, have always been the ladies. Join us for an evening of true crime tales of killers and trailblazers, brutal bitches and awesome ass kickers, presented by Sarah Cailean. There will be talk of killers-- both infamous and obscure cases-- as well as women who have never gotten their proper due as investigators, forensic scientists, and the leaders in our current renaissance of true crime media.
About Sarah: With more than a decade in professional law enforcement as a police officer and sex crimes investigator, plus another decade in academia with research focused on serial killers and serial sexual predators, Sarah Cailean has now begun work in documentary television. She has created, produced, and hosted the CNN series 'Hell in the Heartland: What Happened to Ashley and Lauria', and serves as a regular correspondent and expert commentator on HLN and Cuomo for breaking news in crime. This year, her 8-part investigative podcast series 'Why Can’t We Talk About Amanda’s Mom?' has been a consistently top ten podcast on the Apple and Spotify charts.
We'll have our food menu available, with the best hot dogs in town, and have over 200 types of beer, wine, cider, mead, hard kombucha & seltzer and non-alcoholic options for everyone.
